• Good morning Bears, today is DAY 3.

Sports Announcements:

• Today is the day! Cheer tryouts are happening in the gym from 3-5pm.  Please ensure that you have indoor footwear and join us
• Last practice before our first race – see you on the basketball court.
• The Boys’ soccer team plays today after school, against Sunny Brae. The game will be on Field 5 at the Sportsplex. Good luck, Bears!
• On Thursday against RMS, the girls’ soccer team worked hard and displayed positivity and enthusiasm throughout the game. Although it was a tough loss, the team gained valuable experience and learned a lot. A special shout-out goes to P.A. for demonstrating a never-give-up attitude and determination from start to finish. The girls will meet Caledonia tomorrow and Sunnybrae on Thursday. Both games will be played at the Sportsplex.
• Attention all bears!  Milk cartons DO NOT go in recycling bins.  Juice and water are great.  NO MILK!!!!
• Just a reminder that tomorrow is Orange Shirt Day. We encourage everyone to wear orange to honour the children who were affected by residential schools and to show that Every Child Matters. Tomorrow, we will also take part in our Every Child Matters Walk during period 4. Let’s walk together with respect, kindness, and understanding. Remember, Bears: Every Child Matters!
• If you are interested to be part of drama club and you are grade 5 to 8 there will be information session Tuesday during first recess in Mme Doucet room 211.
• Music Announcements:
  • Our monthly music calendar is posted outside the music room. Please take as many copies as you need!
  • Today, Senior Band rehearses today at lunch in the music room.
  • Tomorrow is the LAST day to audition for the Birchmount rock band. See Ms. Hunter if you don’t have an audition time yet. The final list will be posted Tuesday before the end of school!
  • On Thursday, rehearsals will run for both choirs and the rockband.

TLC – There will be a quick meeting in the Art room at first recess today.
