Thank you to everyone who came out to our Fall Fair on Thursday.  It was a great success.  We are grateful to our Home and School Committee for all their hard work in planning this fantastic community event. Here are some important reminders for the week:

Playground Rules
Starting Monday, September 23, parents are not allowed on the playground during school hours between 8:10 AM and 2:35 PM. This is to keep students safe because staff don’t always know who is a parent and who is a stranger. Thank you for helping us keep the school safe!

PSSC Meeting
Our first PSSC Meeting is on Monday, September 23 at 6:30 PM. The PSSC is a group of parents and staff who work together to help the school. You can learn more about it here.

School Photos
School photos for Kindergarten to Grade 2students will be on Tuesday, September 24. Get ready to smile!

Lockdown Drill
On Wednesday, September 25, we will have a Lockdown Drill. This is just practice to make sure we know what to do in an emergency. The RCMP will help us with the drill. Don’t worry, an announcement will be made before the drill begins to remind everyone that it’s just practice.

Student Fees
Student fees for Grades 1-8 are due now. Please pay using School Cash Online.

Pizza Day
Our first Pizza Day is on Friday, September 27. Pizza is $3.00 per slice and must be ordered online by Wednesday at noon. Orders MUST be submitted using School Cash Online. 

Orange Shirt Day
On Friday, September 27, we will wear Orange Shirts to support Truth and Reconciliation Day. We encourage all students to wear orange!
There will be no school on Monday, September 30 for Truth and Reconciliation Day.
