A big thank you to everyone who came out to the Birchmount Home and School first ever Holiday Craft Mart.  It was a great success, and we are grateful to the Home and School and the greater school community for their support.

GRECO Pizza Fundraiser Blitz

Birchmount School is selling GRECO pizza coupons.  Each coupon cost $10 and can be redeemed for a medium pizza with up to 5 toppings. The coupon can be used at any GRECO location in Moncton, Riverview or Dieppe.  These coupons make great gifts for neighbours, babysitters, coaches….. Coupons will go on sale using School Cash Online beginning Tuesday, November 7. We will run the sale for 2 weeks with the delivery of the coupons on Monday, November 20. 

Positive Behaviour Intervention and Supports(PBIS) and Our Bear Necessities

Birchmount School is proud to be part of the Department of Education and Early Childhood’s PBIS initiative.  PBIS is a framework for supporting students’ behavioural, academic, social, emotional and mental health. It is a way to create positive, predictable, equitable, and safe learning environments where everyone thrives.

This week our students will be introduced to our Bear Necessities.  This document is an important step to help identify, define and teach classroom and school routines.  We appreciate you taking some time to discuss the Bear Necessities at home with your child.  We will be using the language regularly at Birchmount to support our students at being safe, respectful and responsible.

Remembrance Day Assembly

Birchmount School will hold its Remembrance Day Assembly on Wednesday, November 8.  Birchmount Bears who are in Girl Guides, Scouts, or Cadets are invited to come dressed in uniform and participate in the Colour Parade during the assembly.  Please contact Mrs. Boudreau if you have any questions (Karin.boudreau@nbed.nb.ca).
