It’s shaping up to be another busy but exciting week at Birchmount School!

🗓 Important Reminders

• First Nations Cultural Showcase – Friday, May 9
  This Friday, Birchmount will be hosting a First Nations Cultural Showcase. Classes will have the opportunity to particitpate in a fun and engaing presentation.
• Spring Concert – Thursday, May 15
  Our K-5 classes who currently have music class will be showcasing their tallents next week. The K-2 classes will be performing at 11:00 and the 3-5 classes will follow them up at 1:00

📚 Provincial Assessments Continue This Week

Our Grade 5 and Grade 7 students will begin writing their French Assessments next week. These provincial assessments help inform our school, the district, and the province about how students are doing — and guide us in making any instructional changes if needed.

To help your child feel their best, please ensure they get a good night’s sleep and enjoy a healthy breakfast each morning. A well-rested and well-fed brain is a mighty thing!
