We hope you are enjoying a good weekend. Here is what is happening at Birchmount School this week.

Provincial Scientific Literacy Assessment

This week, students in Grades 4 and 8 will be participating in the Provincial Scientific Literacy Assessment.

This assessment looks at how students apply their science learning. The results are used to monitor student performance at the school, district, and provincial level.

It is important for families to know that this assessment is not used to determine a student’s final mark and does not affect promotion to the next grade. Students will complete the assessment during the regular school day, and staff will support students throughout the process.

Thank you for helping ensure students arrive on time, well rested, and ready to do their best.

Dixie Lee Fundraiser – Tuesday, May 5

We are excited to once again partner with Dixie Lee Restaurant for a school fundraiser.

On Tuesday, May 5, a portion of all sales will be donated directly to Birchmount School.

It is super easy – your supper plans have been made.
Please consider spreading the word to friends, neighbours, and family. Every meal helps support our school community.

Thank you for your continued support.
