🚌 Field Trips & School Cash Reminders

End-of-year field trips and events are underway! A gentle reminder that all permission slips and fees are managed through School Cash. Please keep an eye on your notifications and ensure that any required forms are completed promptly—we’d hate for any of our Bears to miss out on the fun!

📊 Provincial Assessments

Our Provincial Assessments continue this week with Grade 7 Math. We appreciate your support in helping students come to school rested and ready.

🏫 Home and School Meeting – Monday, May 26 at 6PM

We hope to see you at our next Home and School meeting! Volunteers are always welcome—and needed—as we work together to plan two major events:

• The Birchmount Walk-A-Thon, our biggest fundraiser of the year
• The Grade 8 Graduation celebrations, a truly special milestone

As they say: many hands make light work! Even an hour of your time can make a big difference.

👟 Walk-A-Thon – Save the Date: June 13

Mark your calendars! Our Birchmount Bears will be walking the “Birchmount Mile” on Thursday, June 13 as part of our annual Walk-A-Thon. Students will be collecting pledges to support our school—and we welcome your help spreading the word.

If you work for, or know of, a local business that may be interested in sponsoring a student or donating, please reach out! It’s a great way for our community to come together in support of student success.

🐻 Kindergarten Transition Day – Friday, May 30

There is no school for current Kindergarten students on Friday, May 30 as we welcome our soon-to-be Bears for Kindergarten Transition Day. We can’t wait to meet our newest learners!
