PSSC Meeting – Monday, May 25 at 6:30 PM
Our final Parent School Support Committee (PSSC) meeting of the 2025–2026 school year will take place on Monday evening at 6:30 PM.
If you are interested in learning more about how you can become involved in the PSSC for the 2026–2027 school year, we warmly encourage you to attend. It’s a great way to connect, share ideas, and support our school community.
Home and School Pizza Day – Wednesday, May 27
Pizza Day is happening this Wednesday!
Important reminder:
- Orders must be placed through SchoolCash Online by Tuesday at 12:00 PM (noon)
- Please note this is 2 days earlier than our usual ordering timeline
- Late orders cannot be accepted
Our Home and School volunteers need time to organize all orders, so please don’t delay—we would hate for anyone to miss out!
On Our Way to Kindergarten – Thursday, May 28
We are very excited to welcome our future Kindergarten Bears for their On Our Way to K Day on Thursday!
Please note:
- Current Kindergarten students will not have school that day and will enjoy an extra-long weekend.
Middle School Entrepreneurship Market – Thursday, May 28
Our Middle School students have been hard at work designing products, creating marketing plans, and preparing for their Entrepreneurship Market!
Students in Grades 1–7 will have an opportunity to visit the market and shop.
- Items typically range from $1 to $5
- Please consider sending a small amount of money with your child so they can take part in this fun learning experience and support their peers.
Pilot Calendar Day – Friday, May 29
Friday is our final Pilot Calendar Day of the 2025–2026 school year.
- No classes for students
- Birchmount staff will be engaged in professional learning and collaboration

Cheer Team Bottle Drive – Saturday, May 30 (9:00 AM–2:00 PM)
Our Birchmount Cheer Team is hosting a bottle drive this Saturday!
- Donations can be dropped off at the school
- Team members will also be going door-to-door in the neighbourhood
