We had a wonderful day on Friday, May 9 as we celebrated our First Nations Cultural Showcase. We are incredibly grateful to our First Nations friends and partners who generously shared their culture, stories, and celebrations with us. It was a meaningful and joyful experience for our entire school community.

Here are a few important reminders for the week ahead:

🔬 Grade 4 & 8 Provincial Assessments
Students in Grades 4 and 8 will take part in the Scientific Literacy Provincial Assessments this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please help ensure your child arrives on time, well-rested, and ready to do their best!

🗓️ Parent School Support Committee (PSSC) Meeting
Our next PSSC meeting will be held on Monday at 6:30 PM. Visitors are always welcome—we’d love for you to join us and be part of the conversation!

🌞 Playground Use During School Hours
With the warm weather, it’s been heartwarming to see families enjoying our school playground. Just a quick reminder: the school grounds are in use during the school day, and we ask that families wait until after dismissal at 2:40 PM before using the playground. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!

📅 Upcoming School Closures
Please note that there will be no school for students on Friday, May 16 due to teacher meetings. Schools will also be closed on Monday, May 19 for Victoria Day. We hope you enjoy a safe and relaxing long weekend!
