Get ready to lace up your sneakers and rally around a great cause—our annual Walk-A-Thon is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited! This major fundraiser, hosted by our fantastic Home and School team, will take place on Friday, June 13 as our students proudly walk the beloved “Birchmount Mile.”

We’ve set an ambitious—but absolutely achievable—goal of $12,000, which breaks down to just $20 per Birchmount Bear! Funds raised go directly toward supporting amazing opportunities for our students.

Here’s how you can help:

  • Donate to any Birchmount student or use SchoolCash Online.
  • Business owner or work for a business? We gratefully welcome community sponsorships and tax receipts are available for donations.

And don’t forget one of the best parts of this tradition—YOU! We encourage families and neighbors to decorate their lawns, make signs, or come out to cheer on our Bears as they pass by. Let’s show them how much spirit lives in the heart of our school community!

🎉 But wait, there’s more!

Join us on Thursday, June 12 for our 2nd Annual Culture Day, where students are encouraged to wear traditional clothing and bring in traditional foods to share with classmates. It’s a beautiful way to celebrate the rich diversity that makes Birchmount so special.

📆 Looking Ahead:

  • Grade 8 Celebration & Dance: Thursday, June 19
  • Last Day of Classes: Friday, June 20

Let’s make these final weeks of the school year vibrant, joyful, and full of Birchmount pride. Thank you for your ongoing support—let’s walk our way to $12,000 and beyond!
