It’s hard to believe we are heading into our final week of classes before March Break! Our school will be closed from March 2–6, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday, March 9, refreshed and ready for the final stretch of winter.

To celebrate, our Student Leadership Corps (TLC) has organized a fun-filled Spirit Week:

• Monday: Favourite Sport/Jersey Day
• Tuesday: Tie Dye Day
• Wednesday: Pink Shirt Day for Kindness
• Thursday: Tacky Tourist Day (dress like you’re heading somewhere warm and sunny!)
• Friday: Birchmount Spirit Day – wear green and gold

We can’t wait to see the creativity (and perhaps a few very enthusiastic tourists!).

A couple of important reminders:

Our Home and School will be meeting on Monday, February 23 at 6:00 PM. All are welcome to attend.

Home and School is also hosting our monthly Pizza Day on Friday, February 27. Please be sure to submit your order using School Cash Online by Wednesday at noon.

We also kindly remind families that we have both staff and students who are sensitive to scents. Colognes, perfumes, and body sprays should stay at home. Deodorant is perfectly fine — thank you for helping us maintain a comfortable environment for everyone.

Finally, thank you for your continued attention to safety in our morning Kiss and Drop lane. Please be patient and expect a wait during busy times. For the safety of all students, do not pass vehicles in the Kiss and Drop lane. A few extra minutes of patience help keep all of our Bears safe.
