We have received reports of several worrisome social media accounts that could be considered harassment or bullying. Although social media is outside of the scope of responsibilities of a school, we do have a responsibility to educate our students on internet safety and etiquette.  As parents and guardians, we are asking that you have similar conversations with your children and open the dialogue about social media and its appropriate use.  The worrisome accounts are on both Instagram and TikTok.

Home and School Family Movie Night 

The Home and School is hosting a Family Movie Night this Friday, April 5. The cost is $2 per person. There will be a cash canteen and pizza for sale.  Doors open at 6:00 PM and the movie, “WISH,” begins at 6:30.

Early Dismissal, April 8 

All schools in Anglophone East will dismiss early on Monday, April 8 for the solar eclipse.   Birchmount will be closing at 11:30 AM on that day.  Please make arrangements for appropriate pick-up and daycare, if applicable.
