Sports Announcements
- The Middle School finals for cross-country took place yesterday! The grade 6 boys finished in fourth place out of 14 different schools. Impressive end to the season! We had two impressive finishes by two grade eight girls – way to go Busola and Rania! We are incredibly proud of all your hard work. Next Tuesday is the finals for grade 3-5.
- A shout-out to the girls’ soccer team for their effort against RMS on Tuesday. Despite a tough loss, the girls continued to compete and showed determination throughout the game. Every match is a chance to learn and improve. Keep working hard, girls! And congratulations to our player of the match, VHF, for her consistent effort and strong performance. The boys team practices today afterschool, until 4pm.
- Cheer team – reminder you have practice tomorrow from 3-5pm in the gym. Please ensure you are here on time and have your proper gear. All forms need to be returned by tomorrow as well.
- Good luck to SH as he competes in the 2026 Maritime Open Chess championship in PEI this weekend!
Art Club for students in grade 5-8 will be starting next week! Anyone interested in grade 5-8 can sign-up in the grade 5 hallway or in the 7-8 hallway at recess or lunch today. Listen to the announcements next week for exact days and remember to bring your lunch!
TLC – You will have a meeting next Tuesday at lunch in the art room. Please bring your lunch and let Ms., Welch or Mrs. Nowlan know if you are unable to make it.
Music Announcements:
- Junior Choir (for grades 2, 3 and 4) practices today during morning recess.
- Senior Choir (for grades 5, 6, 7 and 8) practices today during lunch.
- Rockband rehearses after school from 2:40-4:00. Attendance matters so PLEASE see Ms. Hunter if you cannot attend.
