Mi’kmaq History Announcement:
- Yesterday was National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Today is Treaty Day which marks the beginning of Mi’kmaq History Month. The purpose is to bring public awareness about the Mi’kmaq culture and heritage for all citizens of New Brunswick. Every day this month, we will share a fact about the Mi’kmaq culture.
Sports Announcements
- Congrats to all the grade 3-5 boys and girls who competed in cross-country on Tuesday! Your coaches and teachers are PROUD of you. There will be a cross-country meeting for ALL grade 6 to 8 students competing in the race after school. Meet on the stage to receive your jersey.
- There will be Boys soccer practice today after school, until 4pm.
- On Tuesday, the girls’ soccer team showed incredible resilience, battling back from a three-goal deficit to score two goals against Caledonia. While the final result may not have gone our way, it was a victory for the team, who demonstrated determination, teamwork, and perseverance throughout the game. A special shout-out goes to B, our goalkeeper, for stepping up with courage and determination when her team needed her most. Keep up the great work, girls!
- The girls’ soccer team is reminded that we have a home game today against Sunnybrae. The game will be played at the Sportsplex, and players who are walking are asked to meet Madame Olivier outdoors in the safe drop-off area at 2:45
