• Good morning Bears, today is DAY 3.

Today is an ASSEMBLY DAY!  We will meet in the gym at 10:20. A reminder to staff that our class periods run 40 minutes long today.  Double check the time!

Music Announcements:

• Senior Band rehearses today at lunch. This is for ALL interested students with experience on their instruments.

Here’s today’s Mi’kmaq History Fact:

• Wabanaki is made of Five Nations: Mi’kmaq, Wolastoquey (sounds like WOOL-ah-sto-gway), Penobscot (pe-nahb-skat), Passamaquoddy (pas-uh-muh-kwod-ee) and Abenaki (ah-beh-nah-kee).

TLC – please head to the gym at first recess today to set up for the assembly.

Sports Announcements:

• The girls’ soccer team has a match today after school against RMS. The game will be held at Riverview Middle School, so girls will need to arrange for drives to get to the field. Good luck girls!
• The Boys’ team defeated Lewisville yesterday 5-4. Great job, Bears!
• What an impressive performance by the Middle School Cross-County in the pouring rain!   Almost every runner shaved 2 whole minutes off their time.   Way to go!
• There is a MEETING for ALL grade 3-5 students at first recess on the stage to get your jersey for the meet tonight at Centennial Park today!  Good luck to the team tonight!
