Good morning Bears, today is DAY 4

• Are you full of Birchmount Spirit? Cheer team tryouts are happening Monday Sept 28th and Friday Oct 2nd.  Please sign up on the list in the Middle School hallway and get an information package from Trish in Room 207.  This should be done at the beginning of a recess, lunch or the end of the school day, NOT during class time. Cheer is open to any student in Grades 5-8.
• Cheer Alumni who wish to help with the Fall Fair display, please come to Trish’s room at lunch recess.
• TLC  – There will be a quick meeting today at lunch recess. Please come ready to head outside after.
• Our school Fall Fair is just around the corner! We can’t wait for the awesome games, delicious treats and lots of fun with friends and teachers. Don’t forget to bring in your jars Bears!
• Sports Announcements:
  • The Boys’ soccer team plays their first game today against Wabanaki. It will begin around 3:30pm on CN Field #5.
  • The girls’ soccer team has a practice tomorrow after school from 3 to 4 PM out on the field. Remember to wear appropriate clothes and footwear. If you have cleats and shin guards, please take them to practice, and make sure to have plenty of water.
  • Cross-country practice will be at Birchmount tomorrow, after school, until 3:45pm.
• Music Announcements:
  • Our music groups are starting this week!  We will meet in the music room. Please listen for the meeting dates and times.
  • TODAY! Senior Band for grades 5-8 with experience (@ 12:20)
  • WEDNESDAY:
    • Junior Choir for grades TWO, 3 & 4: (@ 10:20)
    • Senior Choir for grades 5-8 ( @ 12:20)
  • THURSDAY:
    • Junior Band for grades FOUR to grade 8 (@ 12:20)
    • Rockband auditions (@ 2:40, 5-minute slot each. Students must sign up in advance
