- All grade 8 students who are interested in being part of TLC please meet in the art room at lunch recess today.
- This message is for all students in grades 6 to 8 who have signed up to be Lunch Monitors. Students will be selected and assigned to early years classes in the next day or two, and lunch monitoring should begin this Wednesday. Please listen carefully to announcements for important updates.
- Sports Announcements:
- Weather permitting, there will be Boys’ soccer tryouts today after school.
- For all girls from grade 5-8 interested in playing soccer, come try out tomorrow after school. Practice runs from 3 to 4 p.m. and there will be some running, so be sure to dress appropriately and have a bottle of water for practice. We hope to see some new faces on the field.
- Music Announcements:
- Students in grades 5 to 8 are invited to the district “Squeak and Squawk! event. This is free and takes place tomorrow evening at Riverview Middle School. You may borrow a school instrument and book and get a head start on playing your first few notes one of these instruments: flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone or percussion. See Ms. Hunter today at morning recess for more!
- If you would like to be a part of one of the bands or choirs at Birchmount, you may sign up outside of the music room starting today at MORNING RECESS! 🙂
- If you have cross-country permission slips please return them to Ms. Caul ASAP. Don’t forget there are two practices this week. We will run rain or shine!
