Music Announcements:

Chess Club is cancelled today.  If you are looking to register for the provincial qualifier, the link has been posted on the Birchmount Chess Team on Teams.  You can join using the code posted on the Middle School bulletin board.  

Ski Trip: There will be a very important meeting for all students in grades 7 & 8 who are part of the Poley Mountain Ski Trip tomorrow. Please come to Ms. McGinn’s room at morning recess. This is an important information meeting so please make sure you are there. See you at 10:20 in room 108! 

Fiber Art Club starts today after school in Madame Olivier’s room for students in grades 5 and 6. If you have a crochet hooks or knitting needles, please take them with you for our first session. (If you are an experienced knitter or crocheter, we could also use your help in teaching others.) 

Recess 

A reminder to students that you’re welcome to play in the snow during recess — build, create, and have fun — but please do not throw snow. Also, large sticks can be part of your play, but they must stay on the ground. Do not carry them around or swing them. Let’s make sure everyone stays safe while we enjoy the winter weather!
