GSA and Cheer Team meets today in Trish’s room at first recess.  

We have the Duck Results! 

Teachers, it’s the moment you’ve been waiting for…drum roll please….In our first ever Cheer Team Duck Hunt, we have honorable mentions to Mr Steeves(36) and, Ms Nelson(39) in 4^th and 3^rd place respectively. In second place with 50 ducks it’s Mme Leclair.  And with a whopping 127 and a half ducks it’s….Madame Landry!!!!!! Thank you everyone who participated.  

On a related note there is still a larger duck with the number 40 on the bottom missing. If anyone knows where it is, please return it(NOT during class time) to Trish for a prize!!! 

Sports Announcements:  

• There will be 7-8 badminton practice today during lunch recess. Boys basketball has practice today and Wednesday after school until 4:30.  
• Sign-ups for intramural ball hockey have been posted in the portables, upstairs in the Middle School wing, and downstairs beside the gym. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Nowlan.  

Music Announcements: 

• The first night of the Battle of the Bands took place last night in Riverview. Our school’s rockband, Miscellaneous Minds, performed “Ain’t it Fun?” By Paramore.  The judges shared that our bassist really grounded the group- way to go Ayden Young!  There were plenty of Birchmount music alumni organizing and performing!  Tonight is Night 2 of Battle of the Bands. Middle School teachers, this includes performances by Rowan Miller’s band Deadbolt, and bands formed by Re-anna, E-lina and Vince.
