Music Announcements: 

• Sistema had their Winter Concert this past Thursday.  Congratulations to all the Vuh-val-di, Hi-din, and Moat-zart musicians on a fabulous show. Go Bears!  
• There are NO band or choir rehearsals for students this week. 
• Choir will have their party tomorrow, Tuesday, at noon during the SECOND HALF lunch in the music room.  Bring your lunches and we will enjoy hot chocolate and carols! 

Sports Announcements:  

• There will be intramural badminton today for students in grades five and six.  
• There will be Student vs. Teacher volleyball tomorrow after school until 4:30pm.  

• We are accepting food donations today – the last day to donate! Teachers, if students brought in food today, please have a volunteer from your class drop those off to the office this morning. 

• Joint Health & Safety Committee will meet briefly after school today in the conference room off the office.  

Are you looking to send a positive note to one of our Bears? Let the Birchmount Cheer Team help, and support our fundraising goals at the same time!  Until December 15th at 3pm we will be taking orders through School Cash online.  On December 18th and 19th the Cheer team will deliver your message with a candy cane to the student. Cost is $1.  Cheer members will also be in the hall outside Trish’s room on Tuesday at Recess for cash orders!
