What a joy it was to come together on Friday for our Terry Fox Walk under such sunny skies! It filled our hearts to see the return of this impactful and worthwhile fundraiser—our first in over five years. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we exceeded our fundraising goal of $500! A special thank-you goes to Ms. Hunter for her leadership in organizing this event for our Bears.

As always, the safety of our Bears is our top priority. We ask families to please exercise caution during pick-up and drop-off. Be mindful of our neighbours’ driveways, drive slowly in and around the school, and remind your children to stay alert when walking. Please encourage them to:

• Use the sidewalk whenever possible
• Walk on the left side of the street facing traffic if there is no sidewalk
• Look both ways before crossing

Looking ahead:

• Friday, October 10 – No school for students as staff will take part in Professional Learning. Details of our Professional Learning Plan will be shared later this week on the School News section of our website.
• Monday, October 13 – No school as we celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.
