| It’s hard to believe we’re already into February! This week, we are celebrating Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week at Birchmount. We are incredibly grateful for the dedication, passion, and hard work ofour educators and support staff who make a difference in the lives of our students every day. If you have a moment, we encourage you to reach out with a note of appreciation—it truly means the world to them! We’re also looking forward to a special event on Friday, February 14, as Theatre New Brunswick will be visiting our school to present two exciting productions:Students in K-5 will enjoy Tree Boy, a heartwarming story about resilience and belonging. You can learn more about the production here.Students in Grades 6-8 will experience We Are Awake, a powerful and thought-provoking performance centered on truth, history, and Indigenous perspectives. More information is available here. Looking ahead, please note that there will be no school on Monday, February 17, as we recognize Family Day in New Brunswick. We hope everyone enjoys the long weekend and takes the opportunity to spend quality time with loved ones.
