The Department of Early Childhood and Education announced a change to the 2023-2024 school calendar last Friday.  The last day for students and the distribution of report cards is now June 21. 2024.  We are in the last stretch of the school year.  With this recent change, there are now only 28 school days left for students.  It is important that students arrive on time each day, ready to follow the Bear Necessities and be the best Birchmount Bear they can be.

Here are some important upcoming dates:

May  17                 No Classes for Students due to Teacher Meetings

May 20                  Victoria Day, No School

May 24                  No Classes for Current Kindergarten Students

June 5                   Volunteer Recognition

June 14                 Annual Walk-A-Thon

June 20                 Grade 8 Graduation and Dance

June 21                 Last Day of Classes
