Saturday, January 27 is Family Literacy Day across Canada.  This year’s theme is “Let’s Have a Family Party!”  Birchmount School will recognize Family Literacy Day on Friday with a school-wide assembly celebrating reading.  Please click HERE for ideas on celebrating Family Literacy Day in your home.

Winter Concert, K-5

Ms. Hunter, our amazing music teacher, is busy planning our K-5 winter concert, “A Woodland Winter Concert.” This a very large endeavour for Ms. Hunter, our K-5 classroom teachers, and all the students involved.  We are very grateful for the time spent at school and the hours spent after school and on weekends to plan such an event.  A separate email will be sent to our K-5 families with additional details for the event.

Home and School News

There is a Home and School Meeting scheduled for Monday, January 22, at 6:00 PM.  All are welcome.

Friday, January 26 is our monthly Home and School Pizza Day.  The order form will open tomorrow on School Cash Online and will be available until Wednesday, January 24 at noon. 

GRECO Coupons

We have a small amount of the GRECO pizza coupons still available at the office for $10 each.  Each coupon is worth 1 – 12” pizza with up to 5 toppings at any of the Greater Moncton GRECO locations.  You may exchange up to 3 coupons per visit. These are great for those family pizza nights, or maybe a Family Literacy Day Party!  We will be accepting cash directly at the office until the coupons are sold out.
