After a quick, short week, we are back for a full week of learning at Bichmount School and we have lots of news to share.

Birchmount School Swag Store

School clothing is on sale now with DNA Swag.  The school store will close on November 3 to allow for enough time for items to arrive before the holidays.  Please click here to access the school store.  

Breakfast/Lunch Program Donations

A link has been posted on School CashOnline for donations to our Breakfast/Lunch Program.  Each day, breakfast and lunch is provided for over 100 students.  Birchmount is grateful for the support from Food Depot Alimentaire but we are always in need of more.  Donations of any amount are welcome.  Income tax receipts can be provided for donations over $25.  A public link is also available if your company or employer would like to make a donation.   Please reach out to the main office if you require a donation request letter.  We would be very happy to provide whatever is needed.  Click here for the public donation link.

Home and School Family Movie Night

The Home and School is hosting our first Family Movie Night of the school year this Friday, October 20 at 6:30.  The movie is “Super Mario Bros.” Admission is $2/person and there will be a canteen and pizza available to purchase.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.  

School Grounds After School Hours

If you see any activity on school grounds after school hours that appears suspicious, please contact the RCMP Non-Emergency line, 506-857-2400, or the City of Moncton Office of By-Law Enforcement, 506-853-3333.  This is especially important in the evenings as there is no trespassing on school properties after dark.   Thank you to our community neighbours who have already reached out.
